These terms cover your use of QR Studio. Please read them before using the app.

Agreement to terms

By downloading, installing, or using QR Studio ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms may be modified at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

License and use

License grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Create QR codes containing malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • Use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights

Your content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create using QR Studio, including QR codes, images, and associated data. You are solely responsible for the content you create and share.

Prohibited content

You agree not to create QR codes that:

  • Contain malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Link to phishing websites or scams
  • Contain illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Infringe on third party intellectual property rights
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Subscriptions and payments

Pricing

QR Studio offers a 7 day free trial, after which a paid subscription is required to keep using the app. Plans are Monthly at $3.99 (with a 7 day free trial), Yearly at $24.99 (with a 7 day free trial, the best value), and a one time Lifetime option at $59.99 (no trial). Prices are in US dollars. By purchasing, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. You authorize Apple to charge your chosen payment method for recurring subscription fees.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. The Lifetime option is a one time purchase and does not renew.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple under their App Store refund policies. The developer cannot process refunds directly.

Intellectual property

Our property

QR Studio, including its design, features, content, and code, is owned by the developer and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use the QR Studio name or branding without written permission.

Templates

QR code templates provided in the App are licensed for your use in creating QR codes. You may not redistribute or sell the templates themselves.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS
  • UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

There is no guarantee that QR codes generated will be scannable by all devices or that the App will meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Business interruption
  • Cost of substitute services

Total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the developer harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third party rights
  • Content you create or share using the App

Termination

Your access to the App may be terminated or suspended at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately, you must delete all copies of the App, and provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
